dreams can be real
Or so it felt dreamy, being surrounded my golden and crimson colors of Autumn. I had never seen Fall so peaceful and beautiful. I was expecting kids running around in the leaves just to hear them rustle beneath their feet, dogs running and leaping in the air to fetch, chitter chatter of couples and teens. Instead, I got the calmness of the collection of dried leaves and slight winds. Every so often, I’d here the leaves as they broke from from their twigs and crunched on the ground.
I couldn’t get over how peaceful life was yet people seemed so busy. There was the one lady that jogged the garden whom passed me from one side of the garden to the other. Not to mention the cute older couples that strolled along the way, pointing at their favorite shaped trees. Even the dogs were peaceful and calm. Not one person seemed to be “excited”. Instead, it felt like everyone was enjoying the same thing as me which made the feeling all the more peaceful. No one, it seemed, wanted to ruin the calm of the day.
Walking from one end to the other, it was like walking from one wonderland to the other. I had made numerous trips to this very garden but this time, it seemed so different and remote. Life was changing for nature as well as the moods of the locals and myself.
